This is a very bad example of contest I have been experiencing - https://www.freelancer.com/contest/Furnishing-a-living-room-279069.html - with the client not responding and choosing an average winner, things that would make anyone ask "what is the point of having a competition then, and not have a simple job posting?". How do you make sure this is not going to happen again with you?

The dimensions are in centimeters, The roof is very high to the front about 20feet and sloping to about ten feet to the back, It is for a fast food restaurant , there must be a place for the kitchen, there is a bathroom there as shown. I can increase the prize money depending on the submissions.
