Contest Brief

This is a contest for "sample layout" (a few catalog pages or spread) of a wholesale product catalog that will feature candles. I'll pay the winner the small fee AND he or she will get the opportunity to design a full 30-40 page catalog for us afterwards for a fee determined after discussion. I'm looking for layout and designs skills. I've attached images. Feel free to have fun -- I'm looking for creativity in addition to clarity. I've attached images and text. We are inspired by the earth’s natural beauty and its resources, that’s why we create all of our candles using an eco-friendly, proprietary blend of beeswax and palm wax. Our candles burn smooth and smoke-free. They also burn inwards to create a luminary so the carving will hold its shape unaffected. But the real story centers around the people behind the candles, our artists, and the place that defines them. Volcanica Candles are in made Ubud, in the middle of Bali. This is the cultural and artistic center of Bali. For generations, the crafts-people of this town have used their hands to create art from wood.
