Well this contest was a joke. They didn't even check profiles. Whole premise was to complete profiles and people who have incomplete profiles have won the contest.
My profile was completed in full, with badges, completed projects, awarded projects as employer, etc... I dont think I should have won, but I do think that the contest was either rigged, or there were never any real critera and it was a lottery.- 11 tahun yang lalu

Even some winner has not completed 100 % Profile so what is the meaning of that if Profile percentage are not in count ?

Yes I totally agree with you , 100 % profile completed after Contest Over + after result , something fishie is happening with this contest that is my personal view , strange thing is Profile with ZERO Reviews is winner in this contest , whats more strange then this !!!!

I was expecting them to check the profiles in more details but it looks they chose winners based on just graphics. For a writer's profile, I was expecting them to evaluate that who demonstrates and presents his/her ability and skills in the best way. But to me it looks like they have just seen who have pictures in their portfolio. A writer's profile is evaluated based on pictures/graphics. LOL...., May be I couldn't understand the criteria, what I expected was that submitting entries is just a way to enter in this contest and they will check the complete profile that's why I just submitted only a single entry. But looks like they have decided based on just what is in screenshot rather than visiting profile and evaluating in depth. I wouldn't say it as unfair result but looks like a childish result. Anyhow, congratulations to all the winners. cheers:)

Well, thanks for cheering.
However, I would like to say something:
If you read the contest description carefully, the contest is based on completing your profile, taking exams, updating skills, showing off portfolio, etc. as a way to becoming an active freelancer.com member.
If you look at my profile, I have passed 3 exams (Freelancer Orientation, Employer Orientation and US English Level 1). I have added all possible skills connected to writing. I have completed a lot of writing projects after entering this contest. I have my payment verified. Additionally, I have made a good looking portfolio and I have a good profile description.
Therefore, the award probably came to me because my overall profile was good looking and complete.
On the contrary, you have completed only 2 projects, passed only 1 exam and you don't have your payment verified.
So, be honest and consider yourself, who have a better profile. :)- 11 tahun yang lalu

I think when it comes to a better profile, it doesn't matter who have more feedbacks or more projects completed. It's just about presenting your skills in the best possible way. Telling employers what you can do for them and presenting them your portfolio. I know you didn't like it when I said that a writer's profile is selected based on pictures. My point of view can of course be wrong and it doesn't matter what I or anyone else thinks as really is that you are WINNER:) Cheers again buddy:)

They use to run CRON script to update profile related task.... some time on peak traffic time it takes a few days and on non-peak a few minute.
For rating the data is attached with above listing .. a hidden -- attribute to "li" element ... If you can see generated page HTML code ... then you can see those data are attached.- 11 tahun yang lalu

"You'll need to provide your design in AI and EPS formats." What design? They asked us to provide profile screenshot, aren't they?
Also why does it ask is it mine *design* or partly someone's else when I submit entry? Of course it contains elements of Freelancer.com design as it's Freelancer.com screenshot. But it doesn't allow entry in this case.

They merge the scriptlance and freelancer account but they require validations for us to acquire our feedbacks.

they deducted USD 10.5 when release payment but after 1 min they've refunded automatically that project fee in my account. I hope you all also get that money back.
