Contest Brief

We are a secure encrypted communications company and have developed our own secure android based operating system. We are looking to make a new logo for the new operating system (OS) that is names AegisOS. We are looking for a clean and modern logo that would look good in just 1 color if needed. We are open to ideas but do like the idea of a round shield. The shield can be implied and subtle or more literal. One limitation is that it will be used mainly as a phone startup screen so it will be on a narrow screen. Lastly we do have a tagline but it is not required to use the tagline and in fact would probably like a version with and without at the end of the contest. The tag line is "Secure by Design" below you will find some bullets to help define the project.

1.What is the name of your company? - For a Secure android based operating system Named “Aegis” or “AegisOS” part of the gosecured (dot) com brand
2. Do you have a company tagline or slogan that could be used as part of the logo? - Secure by Design
3.Do you have any specific imagery in mind for your logo? - We are open but thinking to do a round “shield” type logo. Can be subtle implied shield or more literal.
4. Do you have any color preferences, or existing brand colors? - We use Blue and white
5. What feeling or message do you want your logo to convey to those who view it? - Secure, technology, professional
6. How do you prefer your logo to be worded or written out? - I think it would be best as AegisOS but could be Aegis OS or even Just Aegis
7. Where will you logo be used? - We are going to use it on our start up screen on our secure cell phones as well as on a website . The issue with the startup screen as its a narrow cellphone screen.
8. What product(s) or service(s) do your business provide? - We provide secure, private, and encrypted communications
9. How many years has your company been in business? - 10 years
10. Who are your competitors? - Silent circle and sumsung knox
11.What differentiates you from your competitors? - We are located offshore “outside of the USA” and we make security easy to use
12. What’s the age range of your target customer base? - From 30 – 50
13. Is there a unique story behind your business? - For over 10 years our company purpose from day 1 is to allow clients be secure and private and run their business securely.

15. Where do you see your business/service in 5 years time? - We expect to be a main stream provider for encrypted communications and secure android based operating system.
