Contest Brief

Margit Maxwell is our Snow dog Guru. We want to turn her in to an cartoon/illustration/caricature for use on our website.

I am attaching a photo of Margit Maxwell, our Snowdog Guru. Don't worry about the background, just focus on creating a brilliant illustration of Margit. Small request from Margit: "Make me look awesome". But of course, ensure it looks just like our guru.

The image we want to portray is friendly but professional, just like Margit. A face that you'd trust and believe in.

Margit always wears her dog training cap and her whistle is forever around her neck, take advantage of these two accessories.

I am attaching a photo of Margit to base your entry on and also a couple of examples/styles I really like.

The file Margit.png is the photo to base your entry on.

The file yoast.png is an example of an illustration style I really like, it's fun but professional. That said, if you have other ideas, please use your creativity to your advantage.

It bothers me to see the frontrunning drawing be a blatant rip-off of a previous frontrunner's work. Just saying.

  Also the orange patterned background coupled with the circular knockout. The whole design is standing on the shoulders of TizarBerand's work, which HAD been the consistently favored design until the copycat piece was posted.

I have added a few more examples of styles I like, which may help give direction. Our logo is cell shaded, so this style would perhaps be ideal too.
