Contest Brief

The Jonas Project (thejonasproject.org) is a non-profit that helps Veteran entrepreneurs launch their own businesses. We primarily target Veterans to let them know we are a resource for them, but we also recruit mentors (who work with the Veterans and advice them) and of course, we heavily recruit donors.

Attached are the two logo versions we've been through already. We want to keep the font (Gotham book and Gotham bold), but we need a visual graphic that can stand alone without the words. The colors are orange and grey, but you can play with the shades.

We want something that is representative of innovation, entrepreneurial spirit and tenacity, with only a nod to the entrepreneur's military experience.

Yes, they are veterans, but now they are using those skills to be business owners. We want to capture that in the logo/graphic. The most important thing is that the graphic that goes with this logo is a graphic that can stand alone.

No clip art, no stars.

Bonus (but not required): The Jonas Project is named after Lt. Cmdr Jonas Kelsall, who was killed in action. He was 32 years old. If you can work in an easter egg and somehow represent the number 32, that would be cool. You'll notice on the attached circle logo there are stripes in the letters which represent his age. Again, cool if you can pull it off, but not necessary.
