I am doing a website for a client at the moment who wanted to use tumblr as a free platform. Obviously there are some limitations here that I am not knowledgeable enough to overcome. Hopefully you may have some ideas.

The website currently has a homepage with 'photosets' to showcase the bakery's products. These images are then tagged, which creates a drop down menu to categorise them into pages.

The client however, wants just one image from each category (ie. one item from each category under the drop down menu) on that home page, that when clicked on, redirects to that tagged page with the full set of images. So rather than having all posts show up on the index page, they just want a select few in a grid, that link to the full directory of images.

Essentially they want the index to be somewhat of a landing page/visual directory. I don't know if this is possible through tumblr? or perhaps there is another option to give them what they want?

There are also two or three other small things that I would like to change;

1. I would also like to move the 'products' link to the left in the navigation bar - in between 'home' and 'wholesale'.
2. I would like to centre all logo's on the stockist page as well as the 'our story page'
3. I would also potentially like to look at creating a site map in the footer.

I was wondering if you could clarify a few things, basically you want a single post on the index page(With multiple pictures), with each separate picture leading to a different url?

The HTML and custom markup allowed on tumblr is pretty basic, however I think it can accomplish the things that you requested.

How exactly would like us to submit an entry? I don't see any pictures of your site, so right now I can only assume you want us to show that we can implement the type of functionality you requested?

Another question, what theme is currently being used? If it's a free one, I'd like to know the name of it, so I can use it it to make the prototype closest to what you want.
