Contest Brief

I have an existing logo that I would like to be more modern. I like the logo as it is, but it needs refining and perhaps some other artistic input. I welcome creative ideas and suggestions.

The winning entry will be required to provide SVG files, and assign all copyright and ownership to me. Alto, any fonts used must be from http://font.google.com/ or http://www.fontsquirrel.com/.

Current font used in business cards is Redressed. The font in the current logo is hand-drawn. I do not need a business card design - just a logo.

Update: Here's some additional information I provided in the public clarification board.

I still like the design of the current logo, the curves and the way the letters fit around each other.

I recently sponsored an event, and our logo looked weak compared to the others, which were bolder. I've attached an example of the other logos.

So, I'd like to keep the general design, but need something the looks bolder and more defined at small sizes. I hope this helps. Thanks!

Please don't make the logo 3D. It must still look good in black and white, and be easy to recognize a small size (i.e. 2cm by 2cm prints).

I'm also still seeing complete redesigns. I'm no longer going to provide feedback on those.
