     Hi, the layout is good, in my opinion there is just a lack of customization but overall is clean and nice. I agree with @Danijelb, the header image is a bit noisy, try to remove the white spots, also if you plan to use a character try to find a reason why it should be there, like you could put something 'on the white board, an icon or some text related to a specific area of the site. :) Keep doing!
