Contest Brief

We need a logo to launch "MamasQueTrabajan.tips", a website to promote seminars for companies on the challenges of working mothers. The logo needs to work on business cards of course.

Design guidelines:
+ Target market is HR training areas that would hire speaker as well as working mothers,, so it needs to strike a balance between professional and accesible.
+ We want a clean design, flat, two or three colors, not overdone
+ We do not want a static, heavy logo. We imagine one that hints at movement, but does not float away either.

We kept coming back at the idea of playing with the "MQT" acronym as follows:
- Curvy solid shapes that represent a mother with a baby in arms and going out the door or carrying a briefcase
- Curvy left vertical side of letter M would be the arm embracing the baby. Letter Q would be the baby. Right side of M the other arm? The T the briefcase or a door frameç.
-We imagine the drawing leaning slightlyto the right to insinuate movement.

Colors:
Peacock (#33A1C9) - Base
Snow3 (#CDC9C9) - Complement
Goldenrod (#DAA520) - Accent

But all this is only our (one) idea and we would not be posting here if we were not open to new ones.

So either stick to the plan or surprise us!!

Another idea ...
- Speaker initials are MA, first letters of "MAmás ..." domain

Deliverables:
To win prize: logo in PNG with transparent background, in color, in b&w, in greyscale, positive and reversed
After prize is awarded we will request EPS, JPG, GIF, TIFF (in color, B&W and greyscale) file formats

MH, #10 and related have pointed edges. In #13 the text is too small for a business card, Powerpoint, etc. The logo does not bring to mind a caring and professional advisor on how to cope with the challenges of being a working mother. Thanks for your submissions.

Thanks to all for submissions. Please remember this logo is not for EXECUTIVE working mothers. Many of the submissions are too formal / corporative. It cannot have pointed edges (like a knife). We need something more amiable and caring.
