Contest Brief

I am looking for ideas for a 30 second marketing video CONCEPT. A few words could be enough to get your idea across, maybe a few paragraphs. The best concept wins.

We are opening a new venture hub for early stage entrepreneurs and freelancers. The business model is a coworking space (with desk rentals) plus workshops held at the space (on business development, etc.) plus consulting services directly through the hub. This will be a downtown warehouse-like location where we are going to be based. Here are some keywords to describe the flair: leading edge, collaborative innovation, futuristic, technologically advanced, Zen-focussed, tech meets awareness, consciousness evolution, spark of inspiration, avant-garde. We are trying to come across with more of a serious look or branding. This could be achieved by some spectacular new video technique, for example. We are definitely open to any unique ideas. The focus should be on engaging the viewer. It may be tempting to go with a silly or comedic theme with this, but we will only accept ideas that make us look serious and legitimate.

For the promo video(s). The goal of the first phase of marketing is to generate organic following on social media in the target group of business startups, entrepreneurs and freelancers. So the idea for the promo video is to do something that this group of people will find interesting/engaging/exciting enough to share and make go viral. Then of course the video is going to have a link or call to action at the end to get people to sign up to the newsletter or follow profiles etc.

Here is the tricky part. We have not yet secured our location, but want to get this video our ASAP. So we do not have a place to show off in the video. We do not actually want to make this first video about the space at all, but rather about "Startups/Entrepreneurship/Innovation" in general. We can then just at the end have something where we say get ready for the next coolest thing around and then end on the Logo with URL with call to action. The intension is to leave the viewer curious and to give them a video that they will want to share on their social media pages without giving away the entire business model.

We want to somehow express some facts and statistics in the video in a creative and exciting way: Startup Scene is growing, X number of new startups, X million dollars invested, X million dollars generated, etc.' with some kind of cool, exciting or shocking imagery and music. Again, something that people will want to watch and share. Plus any other twist we can think of in terms of imagery and content. Anything really just as long as it comes across as something that's so cool that the local viewer needs to share it on their social media with tech/innovation/startup/entrepreneurship interests. We are not looking to make this come across as a moving brochure, or touristy type video.

Creativity and uniqueness are what we are looking for to produce something appealing to watch that is begging to be shared and shown to other people.
