How it currently works: -When a friend posts a message on a private profile, it still shows the public world icon. phpFox says no worries, as long as the member knows they set their profile to friend's only, no one can see it no matter the icon. PHPFox sets their users email notifications to on by default. This creates tons of emails going out for every action taken - someone likes your pic, comment, etc. This creates deferred emails due to the volume it produces. DKIM is good - SPF is good - Exim Email Server is good - Just too many emails going out. Need a way to disable Email Notifications "For existing and new users" This site must still be able to send out Verify Email at sign up and also send out Pass word reset / recovery which I think is separate from the notifications.
