We have a wordpress web site. We have our own user login accounts. We also have bbpress (forum) plugin installed. The bbpress uses their own user account. We want to replace bbpress user account login with our own user login accounts. That means, if user logs in to the web site, he does not have to login again with a user in bbpress. The same user should be used as the bbpress user.

We were using PHPBB, which needed an update. I hired a freelancer to do the update. They updated the PHPBB but lost 20 years of archived posts. The archived posts were from another CFM software program and still seem to be in the trash folder on my server. However, it has come to my attention that the comments do not come through automatically and the page needs to be refreshed before loading in new comments. Sorry for not being more specific, db is Mysql 5.4 currently. It was 7.4, but it started giving server errors. so they went back to 5.4. the php says 3.17 it should be 3.3 - In order to do this I need to see the updated php with all my data. Before it goes back to the server it will be checked by my IT people. Or a link can go from my new site. Which is another project I will need help with.
