I have a small closed network of PCBs, each with an ESP-32D as its controller. I am using an 18V power source that is connected to each with CAT-V on a custom (not ethernet pinout) format to feed the 18V and ground with two twisted pairs. There are two high voltage LM2596 buck converters that make 12V for a string of LED lights on one one node, and 5V that powers the ESP-32s and servo for another node. Main idea. To have multiple buttons around a office/home and when someone presses it a blink/signal will occur on the units like a common signal for an event. To ACK the signal everyone will need to press the button to confirm. This is a MVP concept design and I will add more functionality later. The only HMI will be a button and a LED (maybe RGB) so all info will be via that interface I will do all HW myself and want a fully functional software delivered. We are unable to get hold of the Mega 2560 pro mini due to the chip shortage. We have lots of standard arduino mega clones that i can use.
