Hi RiverK330, I've a small Ruby based project for your consideration...based on the 'miri' project for the raspberry pi. Miri currently records audio input, runs google voice recongition on it, queries remote data sources, then speaks out loud the results. Instead of doing voice recognition on audio clips, I'd like a module with an API to EchoNest- a music identification service. There is already an API for Ruby called 'Echowrap', so hopefully this could be integrated. Miri and Echowrap are both on github, if you'd like to take a look before we discuss further. The video will initially show a looping video of someone working.
