I am putting together a 120 V DC source for a high-current, high-power three-phase AC motor installation and need a rock-solid schematic that I can hand straight to my technicians for build-out. The design has to meet three key objectives in one compact drawing: deliver stable 120 V DC under heavy load, cope gracefully with the inrush and sustained current demanded by the motor, and integrate full protection against over-current, over-voltage, and thermal runaway.
