Cartoon Characters for Children’s Book

I’m finishing up a children’s picture book and now need its cast brought to life in a bright, cartoonish style. There are six key characters—and I already have detailed written descriptions for each one, including personality notes, colour palettes, and a few rough layout ideas. What I’m missing are polished character illustrations that can flow naturally into the final page artwork. Here’s what I have in mind: • Individual, full-colour turnaround sheets (front, side, back) for every character • A high-resolution PNG and layered PSD or AI file for each pose so my book designer can drop them straight into the spreads • One simple scene mock-up that shows how the characters sit together on a page I’ll share the reference notes and thumbnails as soon as we start so you can jump straight into sketching. Clean lines, expressive faces, and playful proportions are important, but I’m happy to leave the finer stylistic touches to your expertise so long as everything feels cohesive and kid-friendly. When the final files match the descriptions and the colours stay consistent across characters, the project is done.
