Teaching young children add and subtract on a whiteboard has one rule that decides whether the video works: one idea on screen at a time, drawn at the speed a child can follow. The common mistake is the hand drawing faster than a five-year-old can process, or three things appearing at once - and the child is lost, however clean the art. So I pace to the learner, not to the runtime. The step-by-step is the whole point, so I build it as genuine steps: the problem appears, then each stage of solving it is drawn and held long enough to land - counting on, grouping, taking away shown physically with objects a child recognises before the numerals do the same thing. Bright, friendly, clear visuals, warm but not silly, exactly the tone you asked for - educational first, engaging second, never chaotic. Because it is a series, consistency matters more than any single frame: the same visual language for a number, for the plus and minus actions, for a correct answer, across every video, so each one teaches faster than the last because the child already knows how to read it. Captions and clear narration timing so the words and the drawing move together, and audio levelled so a voice stays gentle and clear.
