I need a licensed engineer who is completely comfortable in AutoCAD to turn my existing single-line diagram into a full set of General Arrangement (GA) drawings for a distribution substation. The single-line will be in your hands on day one; your task is to translate it into a clear physical layout that can be issued for design review and, ultimately, construction. Key points you should know • The final files must be delivered in native DWG format so my team can integrate them into our master model without any conversion steps. • Dimensions, equipment footprints, cable trenches and clearances have to follow standard substation practice; if you normally work to a particular regional code or IEEE/IEC guide, let me know so we stay aligned. • I’m happy to mark up one round of revisions in Bluebeam or directly in AutoCAD—whatever keeps the turnaround quick. Expected deliverables ‣ Plan view GA showing all major equipment ‣ At least one elevation or sectional GA that illustrates height clearances ‣ A DWG title block populated with our project metadata If you have questions about bolt circle details, ground grid layers or anything else that could slow you down, flag them early so we can keep the schedule tight. Looking forward to seeing your approach to a clean, build-ready layout.

Hi, I recently helped convert a power system single-line diagram into detailed AutoCAD GA drawings for a utility facility, organizing equipment footprints, clearances, and cable routing so the layout could be reviewed for construction planning. I also worked on a substation-related drafting task where I prepared plan and elevation views in DWG format, coordinating equipment spacing and access requirements based on standard substation practices. I'd love to share my experiences with you. Best regards, Epa

Hi, I can convert your single-line diagram into a complete, build-ready set of substation GA drawings with clear layout, accurate dimensions, and proper equipment placement. I will develop a detailed plan view including all major equipment, footprints, cable trenches, and required clearances based on standard substation practices (IEEE/IEC as aligned). I will also produce elevation or sectional views to clearly illustrate vertical clearances and spatial relationships. All drawings will be created natively in AutoCAD and delivered in clean, well-organized DWG format ready for integration into your master model. I ensure proper layer management, annotation standards, and a fully populated title block with your project metadata. My approach prioritizes clarity, constructability, and compliance with industry standards. I can accommodate a fast revision cycle using Bluebeam or AutoCAD markups. I’m ready to begin immediately and will flag any technical questions early to keep progress efficient. All the best, Mike

Hello, I can convert your single-line diagram into a clean, construction-ready GA layout that is ready for design review and easy to integrate into your DWG workflow. I focus on substation physical design, including equipment layout, clearances, cable trenches, and grounding interfaces—ensuring the layout is practical and buildable, not just drafted. With 10+ years of experience in electrical and substation design, I’ve worked on similar SLD-to-GA conversions, delivering clear layouts aligned with utility standards. For this type of work, I typically: Develop a clear plan view with proper equipment spacing and access Provide elevation/section views to verify height and clearance Deliver well-organized DWG files with clean layers and title blocks Support fast revisions via Bluebeam or AutoCAD markups To align with your expectations, I just need to confirm: Do you have preferred equipment footprints or should I use standard assumptions? Should the layout follow a specific utility standard? Do you have a template/title block to follow? I can start immediately and provide an initial layout quickly for your review. Best regards, Murteza
