Title: Process & Equipment Consultant for Herbal Extraction Plant (Solvent + Aqueous + Spray Dryer) – India Project Description: We are setting up a Herbal Extract Manufacturing Unit in Mungeli, Chhattisgarh (India) under company Vinka Exporters Pvt Ltd. We require an experienced Process & Equipment Consultant to finalize process design, equipment specifications, and vendor-ready documentation for a turnkey herbal extraction plant. This is a serious industrial project and we want a consultant who has actual experience in extraction plants (herbal/pharma/nutraceutical). Project Scope: The consultant will support in finalizing the complete process and equipment specifications for: A) Extraction System Solvent extraction (ethanol/hydro-alcoholic) Aqueous extraction Extractor sizing & number of vessels agitation/stirrer selection heating method recommendation (steam/thermic/hot water) B) Filtration & Separation filter press / bag filter / centrifuge recommendation C) Solvent Recovery System distillation & recovery system sizing condenser sizing vacuum system selection safety requirements for solvent handling D) Concentration System vacuum evaporator / concentrator sizing suitable design for viscous herbal extracts E) Spray Dryer spray dryer sizing (evaporation rate kg/hr) cyclone/bag filter setup inlet/outlet temperature recommendation utilities requirement F) Utilities Recommendation boiler capacity estimation chiller/cooling tower requirement air compressor sizing vacuum pump sizing water consumption estimation power load estimation (kW) Deliverables Required: The consultant must deliver: ✅ Process Flow Diagram (PFD) ✅ Equipment List with Technical Specifications (RFQ-ready) ✅ Utility Consumption Sheet (Power/Steam/Water/Cooling) ✅ Basic Piping Philosophy (piping list + valve types recommendation) ✅ Layout Guidance for machine arrangement (ground floor + 3-level platform concept) ✅ Tender/RFQ document format for sending to vendors ✅ Support in comparing quotations received from machine manufacturers ✅ 2–3 online meetings for final discussion Plant Capacity: Extraction plant capacity: 3000 litres/day End products: herbal extracts for nutraceutical & ayurvedic applications Location: India Consultant Requirements (Must Have): Minimum 5 years experience in extraction plant process design Experience in ethanol solvent recovery + vacuum evaporation + spray drying Ability to provide at least 2 previous project references or work samples Ability to explain design calculations logically Screening Questions (Mandatory to Answer): Which type of extractor is best for ethanol herbal extraction and why? How will you calculate solvent recovery condenser sizing? What are typical spray dryer inlet/outlet temperatures for herbal extract powder? Share 1 sample PFD / equipment specification sheet / P&ID you have made earlier (can hide client name). What will be your estimated timeline to complete deliverables? Timeline: Expected completion: 10–20 days Fast delivery preferred Payment Structure: We prefer milestone-based payments: Milestone 1: PFD + equipment list Milestone 2: Specs + utilities sheet Milestone 3: RFQ document + quotation comparison support Budget: We are a startup, so we want competitive pricing but professional work.
