I have a set of moderately complex parts saved only as STL meshes, and I need them rebuilt in Autodesk Inventor so they’re ready for manufacturing. The goal is to end up with native, fully-parametric IPT (and, where relevant, IAM) files that capture the original shapes with medium precision and sensible feature trees—enough accuracy for machining drawings and CAM, without chasing micron-level details that would bloat the file or slow editing.
