I need a single-cavity mold designed and built so I can produce up to 1,000 plastic foot files in-house. The mold itself must be machined from ABS, as I want an easily modifiable, lightweight tool rather than a traditional steel block. The product’s shape is already sketched; what I lack is a production-ready 3D model of the cavity, complete with gate, runner and venting strategy suitable for low-pressure molding equipment. Here’s what will make the project a success for me: • A clean, accurate CAD file (STEP or IGES) of the complete mold halves, ejector system and alignment features. • Toolpath or print files compatible with standard CNC or high-temperature FDM, depending on your preferred fabrication method. • Guidance on molding parameters for ABS—including melt temperature, cooling time and recommended release agents—so first shots come out smooth and free of flashing. • One short video or photo set that shows the finished mold opening, closing and ejecting a test piece.
