I am looking to create a complete, professional assembly jig design for the rear fuselage side plate/panel of a generic aircraft. The freelancer will need to design the entire jig from scratch, starting with research on standard practices for fuselage panel assembly fixtures, then creating the full 3D model, drawings, and documentation in CATIA V5. The jig should hold and locate the curved/contoured side panel accurately during assembly (e.g., riveting/fastening stringers, frames, or skin panels), ensuring precise alignment, minimal deformation, and repeatability. Design the full jig assembly: Base/frame structure (beams, plates, supports). Locators (pads, pins, vee-blocks, or adjustable for curvature). Clamps (toggle, swing, or vacuum if suitable). Additional supports to control panel deformation. Reference datums aligned to aircraft coordinate system. Perform basic virtual assembly checks (interference detection, panel fit simulation).
