I need a high-precision 3D design and corresponding vector drawings for laser cutting the panels to produce the 3D model. The final product will be made from 1/8” basswood panels, assembled. This project is for a 3D model assembled from laser cut 12”L x 12”W x 1/8”D basswood panels. These models are assembled using mortise and tenon grooves, not glue. The removable components need to be designed in such a way as to be modular within the whole model. An example model (and example of the instructions I would need) is attached. Final outputs: 3D renderings (jpg, png, pdf), cut files (dxf, svg), and assembly instructions using the 3d model (pdf). Core model includes: stand (detachable), neck components (affix to stand, detachable) lower jaw (removable), and interchangeable components: two sets of teeth, two sets of horns, upper skull, and one set of buildings for the top (see images, interchangeable with normal top of skull). Requirements: - 3D design skills - Vector line creation for laser cutting - Experience with high-precision detailing and wood modeling round shapes with flat panels - Familiarity with wood as a material Ideal Skills and Experience: - Proficiency in CAD software - Attention to detail - Experience with laser cutting machinery Please provide samples of similar work.

Hi, I’d love to build your high-precision, glue-less 3D model in 1/8″ basswood, using mortise-and-tenon joints and fully modular, swappable components (stand, neck, lower jaw, two teeth sets, two horn sets, upper skull, “buildings” top). What I’ll deliver 3D CAD master (parametric) optimized for 1/8″ stock, round forms from flat ribs/skins, dog-bone reliefs where needed. Kerf-compensated cut files: DXF + SVG (12″×12″ sheets), layer-colored for cut/score/engrave and sheet-efficient nesting. Photoreal renders: JPG/PNG + overview PDF. Assembly guide (PDF): exploded views, step-by-step with part IDs, orientation marks, tolerance tips, and BOM. Fit tuning: snug/interference or slip-fit tabs per your laser’s kerf. How I’ll approach Measure-driven, parametric joints to handle material variance (actual 3.0–3.3 mm). Test coupon plate for fast fit validation before full run. Modular interfaces so swappable parts seat repeatably without wobble. What I need from you Your example model/instruction PDF, any brand/style references. Laser data: kerf/beam width, min slot width, preferred layer/color convention. Actual sheet thickness and grain direction preference. I can share relevant samples and propose milestones/fees once I review your attachments. Excited to help you create a clean, presentation-ready, glue-less kit. Best regards,

As an engineer, I have always been fascinated by understanding how objects work and are built, and with my team at MAA CAD, our mission is to apply that knowledge to create solutions which would improve lives. Having read the project description in detail, I believe I have the precise skills and experience you need for this task. My core expertise lies in 3D modelling and rendering using software like Solidworks and AutoCAD - relevant to your requirement of detailed 3D designs for laser cutting. I possess a deep understanding of manufacturing processes with respect to Design For Manufacturing (DFM) - something you would benefit from for efficient assembly and use of materials. It's worth mentioning my experience in surface modelling, especially creating wooden models using flat panels but shaping them into round forms which could realize your vision brilliantly. My familiarity with wood as a material adds another feather to my cap - ensuring quality result while taking material parameters into consideration. And CAD conversion for STL files ensures direct adaptability for rapid prototyping. Choosing me would not only grant you access to a highly skilled professional who understands your needs but also someone who values your time and budget. My DFM proficiency would help optimize the design to save you costs on materials, reduce assembly complexities, thus reducing total product cost.

I can help you with designing skull and its related components in a way that you could build it using a wood laser cutting machines. I will send you assembly instructions so you can assemble it in the easiest way. I am a mechanical design engineer with more than 5 years of experience in product design. I know a lot about Manufacturing, DXF/DWG files, Solidworks, Technical Drawings, Materials(Plastics, Stainless Steel, Wood, PLA, and etc), Sheet metal fabrication, Machining operation, 3D Modelling, and Costs. The price and timeline of the project will get accurate after I discuss more details about your expectations from the results of this interesting project. Please text me so we can discuss the project details and start immediately. Best Regards, Seyedemadoddin
