Also, target heat-transfer area and allowable pressure drop per side to set core pitch, pass count, and manifolds? 2) For the screw expander and pump: oil-free vs oil-flooded expander, rotor spec (twin-screw, lobe count, center distance, L/D, porting orientation), shaft locations, and nozzle/flange standard; pump type (gear/PD vs centrifugal) and envelope/connection constraints? Suggestion 1: Drive all models from a master skeleton and global design table; expose named parameters (connection planes, center distances, core thickness, clearances) with configurations for quick envelope swaps. Suggestion 2: Standardize port features and datum schemes for mating; define rotor profiles with editable splines/equations and include “lite” configs for fast assembly and clean STEP export.
