Want design and fabrication of a door frame sanding machine. A door frame usually have six surfaces needing sanding. Two from the top, two sides (left and right), one bottom and one vertical at the side of Batam (where the door stops). The proposed machine may have two sanding arrangements for each surface. That means twelve heads in alignment to the length of the door frame and to calibrate it. The pressure applied to calibrate and sanding may be either spring loaded or pneumatic.
The dimensions of door frames varies in height and width, whereas length may be 10’ or 12’. Usually, the height of a standard door frame may be 1.5”/ 2”/ 2.5”/ 3” and width 3”/ 4”/ 5” and 6” at the bottom. From top surfaces - there are two parts. First surface having 1.25”/ 1.5”/ 1.75”/ 2” of Batam and free surface about 2”/ 2.5”/ 3”/ 4” at a height of 0.5” from the Batam (door resting area)
The sanding arrangements may be fitted with sanding belts.
The door frames are manufactured with extrusion where primary raw material is rice husk. It is heavy and solid like hard wood.
