I have actually done a very similar project for a US client about 6 years ago. Their friend had passed away, and they wanted to create a 3D-printed facial model as a gift for the family. They only had 3–4 reference photos, so I had to reconstruct and model the face based on those limited references. I completed the project at a time when AI-based tools for this kind of work were not available, so the model was created manually using traditional 3D modeling/sculpting techniques.
