I need a parametric enclosure I can print myself that temporarily clamps to the top edge of a 14-inch MacBook Pro screen without leaving a mark. A single thumbscrew should tighten the mount against a thin TPU lining so the lid is protected yet the whole unit comes off in seconds. On the back of the lid a stock Raspberry Pi case will sit flush, while a 5-inch Elecrow display has to swing to the front on a fully-printed resistance hinge. I’m aiming for a detailed, realistic hinge that can hold any viewing angle after thousands of adjustments, so please pay close attention to tolerances and friction surfaces. When the laptop is closed I want to be able to place everything on a desk: fold-out legs should deploy quickly and give the setup proper balance. They can be simple but must keep the machine stable; I’m less concerned about fancy height adjustment or locking systems than about everyday sturdiness. Durability is the overriding priority: thoughtful wall thickness, fillets, and print-oriented geometry are more important than eye-catching curves.
