I am looking for an experienced 3D Rigger/Technical Artist to create a fully controllable rig for one (1) non-humanoid creature model. This character is designed for the Unity Engine. The attached image is the character model and represents its default "floating/spread" pose. The Requirement: I need a clean rig that provides easy-to-use controls for an animator (or a programmer via script) to execute two distinct movement states: State A: The Floating Pose (Default/Static) – The character should appear exactly as seen in the attached image ([login to view URL]). All tentacles and appendages are spread open. In this state, it needs controls for a slow, gentle pulsing/waving animation. State B: The Fast-Movement Pose (Contracted) – When moving quickly, the tentacles and appendages should contract and "stick" to the bottom of the central body/orb area. The character should appear streamlined and aerodynamic. The rig must facilitate a smooth blend/transition from the spread pose (Image A) to this contracted pose.
