Design a Logo and T-shirt design

Job Description:
I am forming a T-shirt company, and would like assistance with creating a unique and hip logo.
I want a simple, yet identifiable owl which would be iconic symbol of my brand. For example, the "swoosh" represents Nike, the golden arch represents McDonalds, and so on. The name of the brand/company will be "Born Inked" and slogan is "Stay Original."
Below is my wishlist to better assist you in the creation.
- The owl needs to be wearing glasses - use your creativity on this: they can be sunglasses, wire-rimmed glasses, coke bottle glasses, etc. Whatever works!
- May or may not have a bow tie
- The image should be a simple enough design so it can be created using embroidery or screen printing of any size, without losing the identity
- My vision of the owl is more cartoon like (but scary/hip/cool), rather than a photographed owl
- Black and red are the primary colors of the brand
