Looking for an experienced iOS developer who understand very basic and pro methods for iOS app development. Please do not consider this project if you are a fresh start or have accomplished a few very basic app.
I have an App that works based on a simple idea. Tap a button to save current GPS location of a device and give it a name. Later on, It can be used as guidance/compass to the previous positions (there will be the history of stored locations), and a simple arrow will display distance & direction straight to the spot like flight mode. Key thing to remember here is unlike Google Maps / Maps - This app will not use internet data to make sure user can have longer battery life and can use in tough terrain like mountains, forests, parks, oceans, rivers or within desert to find camps or find the parked car.
I already that app developed in 2014 and it works real nice but has some upgrades pending, and I am looking for someone who can accomplish this tasks quickly. I know technical know-hows and will be able to answer any questions arising during development time promptly.
Current App Feature:
Detect location and Save it with icon
History of all previously stored locations
SOS feature to send SMS to 3 selected contacts
Touch anywhere on the screen to make it compass
View location in Map (requires data)
Manual Selection Ability to adjust GPS update time from 5 seconds to 5 minutes
+ Add a feature where users can insert longitude/latitude manually to mark a particular location. Currently, the user can not add place without visiting it. Also, the user should be able to add by typing address with the help of Google Maps API and Maps.
+ User should be able to set preferred map from setting like Google / Maps.
+ A quick store button that helps save locations without asking location name or anything. Example use: Car Parking
+ App was designed for smaller screen and therefore it needs to be updated for Plus size as well requires little UI improvement.
+ Replace help menu with online site instead of offline document (currently stored HTML files within app)
+ Users were able to post feedback from app to a particular email but now that email has been changed. So wants to update from old email to new email. Yes, as simple as that.
+ A few minor tweaks. But not worth hours of work.
+ Layout will be provided or even better if you have someone who can design UI/UX.
