There will be a total of 3 Modules or areas/directories.
This will be accessed via the web and hosted on a web site.
Admin Area (secured via apache in its own directory)
Employee Area (perl/php secured and logged in its own directory)
Public Area (open to all)
First Module (Admin Area)
The admin will be secured via server password. This area should have links to all of the admin functions. First function is to the employee schedule where the administrator can set up the schedule. The schedule should have a day and night shift. It should be monthly with the work week starting on Monday and ending on Sunday with links to previous month and next month. The start time for the day shift is 10AM and night shift is 5PM. It needs a place for the employee’s name(s) to be displayed (make enough room for 3 employees on per shift). Also the schedule needs to be created in another directory for the employees to view.
The Administrator needs to be able to edit any and all fields in the program (i.e. employee names, schedule times/date prices for items/services etc.)
The Administrator area should also get to the running totals pages for each employee as well as get the stores daily, weekly and monthly totals for sales for both day and night shifts as well as grand total.
This should look similar to an excel spread sheet and should be able to dowload and import to excel.
Second Module (Employee)
In order to gain access to this area the employee must log in via user name and password. When the page comes up to login there must be a check box stating “I Agree” and a link to the Agreement Page ( I will make the agreement page). They can not gain access unless the check box is checked and a correct user name and password is entered. They must only be able to access there own area not other employees. The login should be logged on the server with the date, time, ip address and employee name. Also when logged on put a check mark beside there name on the schedule for showing up on time or an x if late or no show. We will be using the time on the server for this purpose. When they have logged in they should go to a sales page with a form to fill out. On this page should be a link to the employee schedule. On the form should be a QTY Box, a drop down list (just fill with item1, item2, etc. but be editable in admin area), and an amount box on one line. Do this again 4 times. These are so they can fill out there sales as they occur. Also at the bottom of the sales form there should be a subtotal box (which adds up all of the sales above), check box for product or service. If product box is checked then add sales tax to the grand total box.
There needs to be a running total for each employee as well as totals for the store (which is linked in the Admin Mod). If an employee makes 4 sales in one day then along with that 4th sale (and more) it should say BONUS beside it on the running totals and then should subtract $15 from the running totals. The employee is allowed to see there own running totals and you can do that on a separate page if you wish.
Third Module (Public)
This should be a simple schedule. This just displays the employee’s schedule. It should be monthly with the work week starting on Monday and ending on Sunday.
