I need a complete 3-D finite-element model of a monument-type building created in Abaqus/CAE and taken all the way through a detailed thermal analysis. The core objective is to understand temperature distributions and heat-induced stresses throughout the structure under realistic boundary conditions. You will start by recreating the monument’s geometry (I can share sketches and key dimensions once we start), assign appropriate concrete or stone material data, and then apply the thermal loads I will specify—solar gain, ambient convection, and a transient temperature cycle. Mesh quality must be fine enough to capture hotspots around corners and joints without inflating run times unnecessarily, so please use sensible element sizing and mesh controls. Deliverables I expect: • The native Abaqus .cae file with fully defined geometry, materials, steps, loads, and interactions • An input (.inp) file ready for batch execution • A short PDF report (2-3 pages) summarising modelling assumptions, boundary conditions, mesh statistics, solver settings, and the key temperature/stress plots Acceptance criteria: the model has to run without errors in my local Abaqus 2023 installation and reproduce the peak temperatures I give you within ±5 °C. If any clarifications are needed on load cases, coefficients, or material properties, just let me know early so we keep revisions to a minimum.
