About the job
We manage over 700 residential apartments and single-family homes across South Florida, and our goal is to provide our future tenants with an excellent rental experience. As Accounting Assistant (located in Peru), you will be the driving force behind the accounting team that keeps them operating exceptionally. You pay attention to the details. As far as you are concerned, anything worth doing is worth doing right … every single time. Nothing falls through the cracks on your watch. We are looking for a candidate who will be awesome at problem-solving and taking lead on projects.
You are responsible for:
• Basic accounting & bookkeeping support
• Enter data into property management software
• Answer and direct phone calls
• Organize and schedule meetings and appointments for the accounting team
• Provide information by answering questions and requests
• Research and create accounting presentations and reports
• Write letters and emails on behalf of the accounting team
• Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
• Develop and update administrative systems to make them more efficient
• Customer service as needed to answer accounting questions via email
• Any other duties as needed to support the team and improve company efficiency
You are:
• Experienced in accounting and bookkeeping for at least 2 years.
• Available to take calls and handle key responsibilities during typical business hours, 8 am-5 pm, M-F.
• Must be detail-oriented, responsive, responsible, a team player, a problem solver, and have the desire to learn and grow with our business.
