I have one contemporary stage play, a country western comedy for this weekend and I need a reliable male actor in his 30s-40s to step into a key supporting role in production. The stage play is, 20 June (Saturday), so the ability to absorb dialogue and blocking at speed is essential—most of your lines overlap between the plays, but timing and emotional beats differ, so quick retention and adaptability will be tested. The script is a one-act, character-driven stage play, no musical numbers or broad comedy bits to worry about. You’ll be sharing the stage with a seasoned ensemble and a director who values collaboration. Expect everything to move quickly, but the director will make sure you have all the necessities to perform exceptionally well in both plays. I need to meet with you Friday, 19 June as early as possible so that we can go over the script and you can be sized for your costume.
