I’m testing and refining a set of counseling techniques and need someone who can convincingly role-play a middle-aged adult in a live practice session. The primary goal is to see how well my interventions land in real time, so authenticity and consistency in your portrayal matter more than any acting credentials. Here’s how I picture the engagement working: • We’ll agree on a brief character back-story together—enough detail to keep the conversation natural without boxing you in. • We’ll meet for a single 50- to 60-minute video call (Zoom, Google Meet, or similar—whatever you’re comfortable with). I’ll conduct the session exactly as I would with a real client. • Throughout the session, please stay in character while allowing the flow to remain realistic. • Afterward, drop character and spend 10–15 minutes offering open feedback on what felt helpful, unclear, or disconnected from your “client” experience. That debrief is key to my evaluation process. You’ll receive a short outline beforehand so you can prepare, but improvisation is encouraged to keep the dialogue organic. If you’ve ever done training simulations, customer personas, or similar role-play work, you’ll be a great fit. Final deliverables: 1. Live role-play session (via video) 2.
