I have a finished résumé in PDF format and would like to add a small, modern touch: a tiny loading-spinner GIF that plays automatically when the file is opened in Chrome, on mobile browsers, and in desktop PDF readers. One important note: most browser PDF viewers (including Chrome and many mobile viewers) do not reliably play animated GIFs inside PDFs. They typically display only a static frame.
