Boxing Video Analyst & Editor — AZ Boxing App About the project I am developing a boxing training and education app called AZ Boxing, which will contain a large library of high-quality boxing clips. I am looking for someone who understands boxing technique and boxing styles and can also edit video. This is not simply a video-editing job. You will watch full boxing fights and training videos, identify important technical moments, cut them into short clips, and accurately categorise/tag each clip. Your responsibilities For each video, you will: * Watch the full boxing footage * Identify useful technical moments * Cut individual clips, normally around 3–10 seconds * Remove unnecessary footage * Keep the clips clean and easy to study * Give every clip the correct category * Add technique/sub-category tags * Identify the boxing style where appropriate * Add a short explanation of what is happening * Give the exact timecode from the original video * Organise the clips so they can be uploaded into the app Main categories JAB * Single jab * Double jab * Body jab * Power jab * Jab while moving * Jab to create distance * Jab to set up combinations FOOTWORK * Step off * Pivot * L-step * Step-back * Step-in * Switch * Shift * Angle change * Exit footwork DEFENCE * Slip * Roll * Parry * Block * Pull * Step-back * Shoulder defence * Catch MOVEMENT * Distance control * Changing range * Ring movement * Lateral movement * Cutting the ring * Creating space OFFENCE * Combinations * Body attacks * Head attacks * Straight punches * Hooks * Uppercuts COUNTERPUNCHING * Slip and counter * Parry and counter * Pull counter * Step-back counter * Pivot counter * Counter combination BALANCE & COORDINATION * Weight transfer * Punching balance * Recovery position * Coordination ANGLES * Creating angles * Punching from angles * Exiting on angles * Pivoting around opponent Boxing styles Where appropriate, clips should also be tagged: * Soviet * Cuban * Uzbek * Kazakhstan * American * European * General/Universal Do not force a style label if the technique cannot confidently be attributed to a particular style. Example Original video: Fight — 12:34 You identify: Category: Defence Technique: Slip + Step Off Line Style: Soviet Timecode: 12:34–12:39 Description: After slipping the jab, the boxer immediately steps off the centre line instead of remaining in front of the opponent. The finished clip is then exported and named something like: [login to view URL] Software You should be comfortable using at least one of: * DaVinci Resolve * Adobe Premiere Pro * Final Cut Pro You should also be comfortable working with spreadsheets, folders and structured tagging. Very important You must understand boxing. I am looking for someone who can recognise the difference between: * A normal slip and a slip used to create a counter * A pivot and simply turning * A step-back used defensively versus one used to create punching distance * Good versus poor distance control * Different types of jab * Different counterpunching situations * Footwork used to create angles You don’t need to be a professional boxer, but you must have a strong understanding of boxing technique. Paid trial Before starting a larger project, I will provide one boxing video as a paid test. You will be asked to: 1. Watch the video 2. Find approximately 20–30 useful technical moments 3. Cut the clips 4. Categorise them 5. Add technique/style tags 6. Add a short explanation for each 7. Provide the original timecode I will assess the accuracy of your boxing analysis as well as the quality of your editing. Long-term opportunity If the trial is successful, this can become an ongoing project. The goal is to build a substantial searchable boxing video library covering: Jab → Footwork → Defence → Movement → Offence → Counterpunching → Balance → Angles → Combinations with different examples from Soviet, Cuban, Uzbek, Kazakhstan, American and other boxing systems. When applying Please send: 1. Your boxing experience 2. Your video-editing experience 3. Examples of boxing/combat-sports work 4. Which editing software you use 5. Your hourly rate 6. Your price for the paid trial 7. How many hours per week you are available Please do not apply if you only have general video-editing experience and little understanding of boxing. This is intended to become a long-term boxing content library, not a one-off video-editing project.

Hello, I’ll review each full fight or training video carefully, identify useful technical moments, and turn them into clean 3–10 second clips with accurate categories, technique tags, style labels, descriptions, and original timecodes. I’ll also organize and name the files consistently so they’re ready to upload into the AZ Boxing app. I understand this requires more than basic editing—the important part is correctly identifying slips, pivots, counters, footwork, distance control, combinations, and other technical situations without forcing an incorrect style label. I’m comfortable working in DaVinci Resolve and with structured spreadsheets, folders, and tagging. I can start with your paid trial and follow your exact classification system. Thanks.

Hello, The key to AZ Boxing is not simply finding punches, but recognising the exact technical purpose behind each moment—such as whether a pivot creates an angle, a jab controls distance, or a slip immediately sets up a counter. I would approach every fight with that level of technical attention rather than treating it as basic clipping. I would review the full footage, mark precise timecodes, and extract clean 3–10 second clips with enough context to understand the technique. Each clip would then be organised with the correct main category, sub-category, short explanation, and relevant style tag only when the footage supports it. I can use Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve for accurate cutting and structured organisation. Before processing the full library, I can prepare a small sample batch so you can check the clip selection, categorisation, explanations, and overall standard. Once approved, I’ll follow the same system consistently across the remaining footage and make adjustments based on your feedback until the workflow matches the app’s requirements. Please message me with a sample fight or training video and your preferred tagging format. I’d be glad to demonstrate how I would break down the footage and discuss the workflow with you so we can begin immediately. MD SHER-E ALI

Hello Client, This is not an AI bid; this is a self response. Your AZ Boxing app needs more than clean cuts, it needs technically accurate boxing analysis turned into a searchable, study-ready library. I can review full fights, isolate 3-10 second moments, and use Video Editing to create clearly named clips with precise timecodes, categories, technique tags, style labels, and concise explanations. I will work carefully in your preferred workflow, keeping distinctions such as slips versus slip-counters, pivots versus turns, and defensive versus distance-creating step-backs accurate and consistent. I am ready to begin with the paid trial and can organize the first batch for efficient app upload, with a clear process established for the long-term library. Would you like the paid trial delivered in a specific spreadsheet and folder naming template, and which boxing footage should be prioritized first? Best regards, Sahil

Technical accuracy matters more than simply cutting boxing clips. Hi, I understand this role requires real boxing knowledge alongside precise video editing. The key is correctly identifying why a movement, punch, counter, pivot, or footwork sequence works—not just finding action. I can structure each clip with: * 3–10 second clean edits and exact original timecodes * Category, technique, sub-category, and style tags * Short, clear technical explanations * Consistent file naming and spreadsheet/folder organisation * Careful style attribution without forcing labels where they are uncertain I can work in DaVinci Resolve and follow your tagging structure closely. I’m also comfortable with the paid trial approach and understand that accuracy will be the main evaluation point. For the trial, I can review the footage, identify 20–30 useful moments, edit and organise them for app upload. Regards, Hamza
