Video Editing and Person Removal

@ramantoor5

Hello, I can help you create a compelling video that feels like a trailer by blending your clips together and removing the person you mentioned. First, I’ll review all your footage to pick out the best parts that flow well together. Then, I’ll focus on crafting smooth transitions to keep the energy up, so it feels engaging and dynamic. The goal will be to make sure the final cut tells a story and highlights the moments you want to keep. To get started, can you tell me what style or tone you envision for the trailer? Also, do you have a specific duration in mind for the final video? Ramandeep K.

@faithk149

Most "trailer-style" edits end up either too flashy for personal footage or too flat to actually feel like a trailer, and the real challenge here isn't the cuts, it's making raw personal clips carry genuine trailer tension while quietly making one person disappear without the removal ever drawing attention to itself. The clips would get sequenced with real trailer rhythm, building tension through pacing and cut timing rather than just stitching moments together, matched with transitions that feel intentional rather than decorative. Person removal would get handled based on exactly how that footage was shot, frame tracking and masking for moving camera shots, cleaner reconstruction techniques for static ones, so the final result never reads as edited out, it just looks like they were never there. Every clip gets treated with that same attention whether it's a hero moment in the edit or a few background seconds needing cleanup. Are the clips with the person to remove mostly handheld or moving-camera shots, or are they largely static, since that's what actually determines which removal technique gets used first?

@victoryi5

Removing someone from a video is rarely just an edit. It usually means the footage matters, and the person does not belong in it anymore. The hard part is making the cut feel intentional rather than patched, so the trailer still plays like a story instead of a repair job. I have done this in Premiere and Resolve, tracking and masking a subject out so no soft edges, frozen frames or drifting backgrounds give it away. My approach would be to lock the trailer structure first, so I know which moments actually survive into the final cut, then remove the person only from those shots, and build the trailer transitions around the cleaned footage. That order keeps the work focused instead of cleaning clips that never make it in. Send the clips and tell me who to remove. Does that person appear across most of the footage, or only in a few shots? That tells me how much of the trailer we can build around them.

If you share the reference trailer and raw clips, I can match the editing style and confirm the best approach for removing the person. Regards, M Akif

@mssaini1996

Your footage needs to feel like a cohesive trailer, with strong pacing, cinematic transitions, and seamless removal of the unwanted person without making the edit look artificial. I can combine the clips in Premiere Pro and use After Effects for masking, rotoscoping, tracking, and cleanup where needed, then shape the sequence with trailer-style timing and visual polish. I haven’t included portfolio links because no verified samples were provided here. Could you share the clips and point out which person needs to be removed?
