Most job boards forbid automated submissions in their terms, and the account that gets suspended is the job seeker, not the tool. So I build it in two halves: everything up to the click is automatic, and the click itself goes through official channels where they exist. Greenhouse, Lever, Workday and similar systems have real APIs or partner endpoints; where there is no API, the system prepares the filled application and the person confirms it in one action. Same speed in practice, no burned accounts. The matching part is the interesting one. A percentage is easy to print and easy to fake, so mine is built from evidence: required skills present or missing, years against the requirement, seniority, location and work authorisation, each scored separately and shown as a short list of reasons, not one number. That also drives the resume rewrite: it edits wording and emphasis to match the posting, and it never invents experience the person does not have, because that is what gets caught in the interview. Everything lands in the Excel sheet you asked for: job, link, score, why, and the version of the resume that was sent. One question: which job sources matter most to you, and are they a fixed list of boards, or should the system crawl anything it finds?
