I need help transforming an off-the-shelf receiver—whichever model you feel is most practical—into a unit that can: • listen to the entire 136 – 175 MHz VHF range and the UHF band at the same time • record activity on at least two frequencies concurrently • let me connect over the internet (browser or dedicated app) so I can control and listen from anywhere • run an AI layer that auto-detects voice traffic and produces live or near-live text in French (other languages are welcome, but French accuracy is the priority). You are free to choose Uniden, Icom or another platform as long as the hardware supports wide-band, dual-channel reception. I expect a working prototype with clear documentation of the hardware mods, firmware or SDR configuration, and the AI pipeline you build or integrate. Remote access should be secured (VPN, SSH tunnel or equivalent), and the decoding engine must be easy to update with additional language models later. Deliverables 1. Configured receiver or SDR setup, ready to ship or replicate 2. Remote-access dashboard with live spectrum and channel selection 3. AI speech-to-text module outputting French transcripts 4.
