I need a fully working bedside alarm clock that quite literally makes sure I wake up: when the alarm sounds it must fire a controllable burst of water at the sleeper. The end goal is a physical prototype I can test on my night-stand—not CAD files, renders, or theoretical schematics. Core requirements • Reliability comes first. Every component, from the pump to the seals, must be chosen for durability and long service life. • The spray should sit between a firm hotel-style shower splash and a brief jet, with a dial or similar physical control so I can lengthen or shorten the burst. Would it be possible to also adjust the spray intensity, from shower splash to jet. The spray level should be adjustable, ranging from a mist option to a mini jet spray. • Physical buttons handle all user interaction (set time, arm/disarm, adjust spray). No touchscreens or apps. • A small, refillable water tank integrated into the chassis. Minimise leaks with thoughtful gasket placement and drip-proof routing. • Rechargeable battery power so the unit can sit cord-free overnight; add a discreet USB-C port for charging. • Simple yet tidy industrial design so it blends on a bedside table. Deliverables 1. A complete, bench-tested prototype that consistently activates, sprays, and survives repeated refills. 2. All build documentation: wiring diagram, parts list with sourcing links, enclosure files (e.g., STL), and firmware source so I can reproduce or iterate the device. 3. Short demonstration video proving the alarm, spray mechanism, leak integrity, and recharge cycle. I’m comfortable if you prototype with platforms such as Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi Pico, or a custom PCB—whatever meets the durability target best. 3-D printed parts are fine for the enclosure as long as they’re sealed and robust. The device should be designed to sit upright in a box that can be placed directly on the bed next to the sleeper. I’ll approve the project once the unit withstands at least 20 consecutive alarm cycles without leaks, battery sag, or mechanical failure.

Hi, I am interested in developing your bedside water-spray alarm clock prototype. My background includes mechanical design, embedded systems, product development, PCB design, and prototype fabrication, allowing me to deliver a reliable, fully functional prototype rather than just CAD files. I can develop a compact, rechargeable device featuring a sealed water reservoir, adjustable spray duration and intensity (mist to mini jet), durable pump and valve selection, physical control buttons, USB-C charging, and a robust enclosure designed to minimize leaks. The design will prioritize reliability, ease of maintenance, and repeatable operation. Deliverables include: - Fully assembled and bench-tested prototype - Firmware source code (Arduino/ESP32/RP Pico) - Wiring diagrams and electrical schematics - Complete BOM with sourcing information - STL/CAD files for the enclosure - Assembly documentation - Demonstration video showing alarm operation, spray performance, leak testing, and charging I recommend an iterative approach, beginning with a proof-of-concept milestone to validate the spray mechanism and sealing before completing the full prototype. The finished unit will be tested through multiple operating cycles to verify durability and consistent performance. I look forward to discussing your requirements and building a dependable prototype that meets your performance goals. Best regards,
