My current board is built around an STM32F429VIT6 and two legacy light-measuring devices that have just gone end-of-life. I have sourced drop-in phototransistors with the same pinout and essentially the same electrical characteristics, so the hardware change should be straightforward: swap the parts, adjust the footprints if necessary, and regenerate the fabrication files. What I need from you: • Update the schematic and PCB (the original files are in Altium Designer; if you prefer KiCad I’m happy to migrate). • Produce new Gerbers, pick-and-place, updated BOM and a brief change log. • Review the analogue front-end around the sensors to be sure biasing and filtering remain optimal for the phototransistors. On the firmware side, the project is written in C using STM32CubeIDE with HAL drivers.
