AWS Lambda testing automation

I have an AWS project with multiple connect flows. Currently the way to test end to end of these flows is by invoking a lambda by making a call and giving utterances which are then translated as inputs by AWS and use them in the connect flows. I want to learn how to automate testing by invoking the lambda in some way, entering the inputs manually by cells in excel or a script of some sort.
