Dear project owner, my understanding of this task is that there is a AWS code Git repository where a commit hook will trigger a AWS Codebuild job to build & deploy artifacts on an EC2 instance. My questions are: - why are Github, Jenkins and EC2 mentioned on the right side? As examples for the corresponding AWS services? - Is there a build of the software needed? Hi Greeting, I think I might be the perfect person to you. As my day to day in my company is to work on the same problem that you are facing. I am using Jenkins UI as well as JenkinsPipeline to build the artifactory. there is actually two types of deployment i.e. using webservice such as tomcat or using native SpringBoot Application.
