My Android tablet is already unlocked and rooted with Magisk; what I need now is a reliable way for it to power-up and start the OS automatically whenever USB power is applied. I have tested a few Magisk modules I found online but none of them trigger a clean, consistent start-up, so I’m looking for a custom solution. Because the goal doesn’t fit the usual “boot to a specific app / mode” options, I’m open to whatever low-level approach you think is best—kernel patch, Magisk module, init.d script, fastboot flag, or a mix of them—as long as it turns the device on without any button press whenever 5 V is present on the USB port and boots normally afterward. Deliverables • Flashable or installable package (Magisk module, boot image, or script) that enables auto-boot on USB power. • Step-by-step instructions I can reproduce on the same device and firmware version. • A short verification guide so I can confirm the feature survives reboots, full shutdowns, and power loss. Acceptance criteria The tablet must remain rooted, SafetyNet status should stay unchanged, and no critical functions (charging, USB-OTG, recovery) can be broken once the solution is applied.
