Hi, I have a native Android (Java) App which is mostly running in the main-activity. In the background many classes are involved. At some stages the other classes or even asyncronous tasks require to raise an overlay which will not break the display main activity (e.g. a notification message).
Please create a simple android example app. Min SDK, current version of android studio. Create a simple sample app with a listview in the main-activity. employ two buttons above the listview. one button allows to add another line in the listview. the other button shall open a "popup/overlay" screen that will display the number of the last row that was added. the "popup/overlay" includes one button which will close the overlay and the app is back in the normal main-activity display.
