I would like an android software APK running as a service that watches a particular URL for a flag that says update software. The service software will then force stop an existing software running and updates or replaces it with the new software and starts the new software back up again on the local machine.
Ideally, this is all done silently in a very quick manner. If you can’t do this silently then please popup message similar to the video attached for updating the software without the need for any user interaction.
Use very basic UI for this app.
I just need to demonstrate the logic.
You need to create the following softwares:
Original Software: Create a simple software that shows on UI with white screen with black type that says “Original Software”. This software does nothing else but shows this white screen with this black type.
Updater Software: Create this updater software as a service that looks for a flag to change Original Software. You decide the logic for changing. You can do HASH comparison if you want.
New Software: Third software is identical to first simple software that when run shows a UI of white screen but says in black type “New Software”.
The service software will check URL every 5 or 30 seconds for update. If your software works then I would see the following:
1) Original Software running with message on UI saying Original Software
2) After 5 or 30 seconds (you decide time interval), force stop Original Software, replace with new software
3) New software running with message on UI saying New Software
The Android software is running on custom hardware for a tablet with the following hardware:

It is 32-bit hardware.
I will need you to provide me with 3 APK apps with source files built using Java.
