Help with creating a http request to github's graphql api using Kotlin

I need help creating a http request to Github's Graphql API which will return JSON response Object that I can use in Kotlin App. The query will fetch Github issues, I already have a query that works but am unable to write a http request, pass my authorization token plus endpoint and get the result back.
