I have an app that uses openCV for Face Verification on Mobile, and also a Proprietary DLL for the PC version. For its purpose it works Ok.
However I want to upgrade this app process for all of Android, iPhone and PC, to use more of a Liveness Face Verification method so it minimizes the possibility of spoofing. In other words, Photos cannot be used to spoof a Facial registration or logi n system in place of a Real Human Face.
There is a good deal of code on Github that has examples and samples. Many are in Python though.
Create a Demo app that achieves the above, specifically, can determine the difference between a Photo and a Real Person. This might be a combination of Process. One example of a process approach might be the user moving their head from side to side and capturing Frames of the left side, front side and right side, so these images can be store and then later Matched using the Matching algorithm.
Another approach might be having the user Smile or Blink or ... so as to detect a real human gesture. These are then stores and Matched using the algorithm and HAAR cascades.
This process should be in a Library that can be readily used by a number of my applications instead of having to integrate raw code every time.
Modify my current openCV based app for Mobile Android initially, then iPhone objective-C, to use the new Liveness method created.
